Swiss Cheese Memory Syndrome(SCMS) Is this the project of Ellis's friend that is teaching indiginous peoples of (Peru?) furniture making skills using traditional tools. Tht object is to allow the natives to become self sufficient.

V�xj� (pronounced "VECK-wah" with the "e" short, tending toward a long "a" sound) is in Sweden, southwest of Stockholm. You'll find it about a quarter of the way down the highway toward Helsingborg, located on the strait across from Denmark. A little farther down that highway, you'll also find Markaryd, (pronounced "MARK-uh-Reed") where I still have family.

Aside from having a University, a glassworks, and a really militant sense of environmentalism, I can't think of anything else that would relate closely to this board.

....unfortunately no correct answers. The mentions of green technology were on track but I sought the noteworthy achievement there. The answer is Limnologen. The tallest wooden structure in Sweden at 8 stories. Here is a time lapse of its construction:
