If I was from NY, MI, TX, PA, or OH would I know the answer?

Bad guess, but _A_ right answer at least.

I suspected that C was the only prime among these numbers. But after seeing your reply, I checked an online calculator and found out C is the product of 2,039 and 180,419. But C _IS_ the odd man out in having no single digit prime factors.;-)

We will give a star for that one, but there is another reason that one of them is odd one out and it does not require any calculation or exotic knowledge (not that primes are exotic, but...), just simple observation.

Actually I had no idea, so I figured I had a 1 in five chance of picking the right one. I picked B because at first glance , until I read the numbers closely, it looked like a repeating series number of 12561256.

Choice F doesn't have any repeating numbers in it. All the others repeat at least one number. Could that be the solution?

If you look at it long enough, you can probably find something unique about all of them.

A is the only one that starts off with a negative trend.

B is the only one without a 7 or 8.

C is the only one with no 5.

D is the only one with 3 of a kind.

E has the largest inter-digit gap

F has the most unique digits

As stated, you can probably find a lot of differences, but if you look, E is the only one that does not have 3 digits in series somewhere in it.
