Do an image Google for "juggling bench" Still did not find out How they are used while juggling. Thanks for the question, Dan.

Uhhh...Wrong!

That's called a "joggling board". It was a popular innovation in the 18th century. A visit to Charleston SC will be where you would see several examples in courtyards or piazzas of historic homes.

They were essentially benches that folks/kids would sit on and bounce up and down on while seated. They have now been replaced with Lay-Z-Boys and HDTV. ;-)
