Rainy Humpday Triviola
Dreary day here in the Foothills of Mount Level. A perfect day for a hot cup of Joe and thinking up triviola. So here goes:
This maker dates back to at least 1931. They made the "Driver Line", a collection of inexpensive tools sold through department stores.
Who are they? And to you Googleheimers...have some hot Joe and think about it first! ;-)

I have one of the Driver line series, has been a good saw, not considered cheap, although a bit unpowered. Maybe later I'll take my female dog and Walkher down to the shop and Turnerher around.

It's Answer Time
Dale wins the fabulous Golden Uni today for knowing the answer of Walker-Turner.
This maker dates back to at least 1931. During the 1940s they were purchased by machine tool maker Kearney & Trecker, and they operated as the "Walker-Turner Division".
Walker-Turner made the "Driver Line", a collection of inexpensive machines sold through department stores. In later years they also made larger and sturdier light-industrial machines.
The division was purchased by Rockwell Manufacturing Co. in 1956. The Walker-Turner name lived into the early 1960s as Walker-Turner Division, Rockwell Manufacturing Co.
