Thursday Trivia

I ran across a little item that I think might be a good trivia question and an exercise for the Googlers in the crowd.

Recently, one of the advertisers here at Woodcentral had a customer come in that showed them a package of Olsen fretsaw blades. Nothing unusual about that, except that this customer had purchased them from Olsen himself before he sold off the business and retired. Even that is not necessarily strange except that if you look at the package, it has the address of Olsen's business, which is exactly the same as the advertiser and, in fact, the customer had come to this very building to buy them those many years ago. He purchased about 25 gross of the blades as he knew Olsen was retiring, and this package was his next to last one. The question is twofold: Where is the building (and its address) and who is the advertiser? (who, by the way, still carries Olsen blades)

I did the search. The address

sum of the two numbers in the address and the zip code is 11297. The company uses a plane for a logo and has the word "for" in it.

Re: Thursday Trivia

I don't have a trivia answer, but Tru-Value Hardware distributer carries Olson blades. The Family Center Farm and Home in Harrisonville Mo has five different Olson blades in stock.

;-) Let's see if anyone else can find it.

Later tonight, I will post a link. It is kind of an interesting story.
