Humpday in the Heartland...Triviola Time

Seen here is a tribute to some of the greatest architecture in the world. It's built entirely of wood. But was is unique about its construction?

Correct, everything there is made of toothpicks. But for a bonus question....how many toothpicks?

Yaaayyy, I finally got one right. I can't wait for my brand new Gold Plated Unisaw to arrive any day now !

As for the bonus, all I can say is way too many! And how much glue must have been used ??? Whoever did this has WAY more patience than I do.

No glue, but a lot of little, tiny joinery! ;-)

Bonus Answer

As soon as it is buffed, the Golden Uni will be shipped to Don for his correct answer of toothpicks.

But how many toothpicks? How about 3 Million! I'm guessing the guy who built it must not have much of a social life....sheez. But I'll give him credit...it's pretty cool.

Re: Humpday in the Heartland...Triviola Time

In my many years working as an archetecturl modelmaker I built many such buildings but never out of toothpicks, match sticks, or ice cream sticks.

Material of choice in majority of projects was Plexiglas.

If one man built all that he had absolutely no other life.
