Winter...again? Humpday Triviola
Gee, I was wearing shorts yesterday and today I wore a winter coat. We've been robbed! Oh well...onto the question:
Printed on the cover of an 1865 catalog was this boast: "Formerly in the employ of Messrs. Spear and Jacksons, Wm. Ash and Co., and other First-Class Manufacturers, of Sheffield, England."
No doubt to impress prospective customers...and it did. Whose catalog am I referring to?

Speaking of guaranteed for life reminds of my recent visit to my doctor. He told me he was putting me on a new medication. I am not one who likes putting chemicals into my body so I asked him how long I would have to take it. He replied probably for the rest of my life. Reluctantly I had the prescription filled and when I got home I read the label. It listed dosage,etc. At the bottom of the label in large letters was "NO REFILLS". Are they trying to tell me something?
My newest guess to the trivia is Marples.
