Thawing Out Humpday Triviola
What a difference a week makes. Last week I posted the question during a blizzard. Today the sun is out and the mountains of snow are turning into hills. Come on spring!
So ok, The French have a revolution. Afterwards, in response of the outcome of the revolution, certain elements that may have been seen on French furniture disappeared. What were they?

Could one of them have been the fleur-de-leis (sp?)? That was the symbol of royalty. Just saw that from the Antique Road Show night before last. I figure that one antique should be researching other antiques.

Yes, the answer is Fleur De Lis. After the revolution that symbol of French Royalty was often removed.

Don't feel bad. You've stumped me more times than I care to remember, especially with designers. Also, two years ago, the Roadshow was in Reno and I went to find out that the map that I paid $60 for was worth $60 and the antique pocket watch my mother sent me was worth $200.

I maybe going to the Roadshow in Orland June 30th. I applied for tickets. We have a painting we think is worth $20,000,000. But maybe only $10.00
