Digging Out! Humpday Trivia Attempt

Well the blizzard has subsided here. My employer...University of Illinois has closed...first time since 1979! Leaves time for me to dig out and hopefully get some workshop time in!

Ok...here goes...

In the south...especially Tennessee and Kentucky what piece of furniture is often the most fought after among families when inheritance is decided?
