It Be Humpday! Triviaganza time!
Hey, it's the holidays, when a young man's mind turns to....Bourbon. Bourbon gets its color and flavor from the charred oak barrels that it is aged in. But what is the colorful name of it before it goes into the barrels?

I'm glad a Southerner got this one. The answer I was looking for is "White Dog" ...or as Kentuckians would say "White Dawg". Bourbon is colorless and flavorless (basically rocket fuel)when it goes into the barrels. The caramelization of the charred oak barrels is what gives Bourbon all of its color and flavor.
