Monday, Back to the grind
In the 1970s one person stood out as the stronghold of fine wood lamination furniture. Fine Woodworking took a particular liking to him. Not above using chain saw and pneumatic ball mills to form his creations. He also used bent paper clips to work out the line of some of his flowing shapes. Today, to me his 1970's work seems heavy in spite of the flowing lines, but back then people ooohed and aaahed every finished piece. Who was this designer woodworker?
