Thursday Trivia

What is this and why would I post it as a trivia question here? (what does it have to do with woodworking?)

It's a Jag racer..

Not sure what model it is, but I think I remember something about Jag using plywoods as stiffeners in the chassis in the late 50's.

Answer *LINK*

It is a Marcos GT. It's connection to woodworking is that it had a wooden chassis up until the 1960's. The problem with the chassis was that it was too labor intensive. A couple of people were obviously close, but no one got the name. Attaching a link with some history. thanks to everyone for playing.
