Thursday trivia

Here is an easy one for you. On the carving board, there is a question about carving a wooden Indian. That reminded me about this question:

In the series "Cheers", there is a wooden Indian in front of the barber shop. What is the name of the Indian?

Re: Thursday trivia

I was a Cheers fan but memory is fading. However the name that is hazy in my mind is the same name as a Civil War guy's middle name.

By chance correct?

Re: Thursday trivia

My memory is even foggier. I don't remember a barber shop.

But if the indian, OOPS, Native American you are speaking of is the one I think it is he is also known as a gas engine.

Re: Thursday trivia

It is the same name as a small city in Lenawee County about 40 miles SW of you, Dan. ;)

Hank Said . . .

that it was "Kawliga", but he's dead and gone now.
