Geez...busy day here at the salt mine...
Tom Lie-Nielsen makes some pretty great tools. One easy question is who did he work for before he started his tool company?
A bit tougher...what were the first two tools he produced for his business? (be specific)

The first was a reproduction numerically tied (linked) to Johnnie Cochran, Thunder Gulch, Forrest Gump. The second was a "pippa squeeka" who was a tad off kilter in the straight and narrow business of plane making.
Two Winners Today...Answers
Ken was correct that Tom L-N worked for Garrett Wade before venturing out on his own.
While L-N did try his hand at various tools Gary was correct that his first two tools for the business was his version of the Stanley #95 edge plane and the #140 skew block plane.

Gary! I'm Stumped even with the Answer
Please explain the Johnnie Cochran, Thunder Gulch, Forrest Gump tie-ins with the Stanley 95. I've had only 2 hours sleep induced by anesthesiology in the last 24, and I'm taking Vicodin for the surgically induced pain. Maybe it will be clear when I get my head straight, but right now I need help.

There I go again. Johnnie Cochran, lawyer in the OJ trial ("if the glove don't fit, you must acquit"), Thunder Gulch was the Kentucky Derby Winner, and Forrest Gump, Academy Award victor all were winners in '95.
