For the life of me I cannot think of a creative question for today. Maybe the coffee hasn't sunk in. So here is my uncreative question:
Hurricane Katrina did plenty of damage in Mississippi. But in terms of lumber damage (both pine and hardwood) how many board feet of lumber was damaged by that storm?

Come to think of it, this is a pretty boring question. So rather than drag this one out I'll just give the answer and hope for better inspiration next time!
3,210,165,000 board feet of pine and hardwood timber was damaged by Katrina. That more lumber than I use in a whole year in my shop. ;-)
