What does cornmeal mush have to do with making wooden marionettes?
Re: WAG
I'm thinking of turkey and Thanksgiving here. Or maybe thinking about Stove-Top-(8 letter word that starts with an "S"?)
Thanks for the week-end trivia....Dale
Nope
Well, first you gotta catch a Carp, ....
...and that's pretty easy if you use cornmeal dough balls for bait. Then you attach them to a pine board and marionette them. Then you throw away the Carp and eat the board.
Got a good recipe if you want it?
Basil
No, but
There are fish involved in the story.
Re: Weekend Extra
Years ago I did a set of illustrations for a re-printing of a story about a famous marionette maker named Geppetto who was taunted with the nickname "Polendina" because he had a wig the color of cornmeal mush.
;-)
Most only know the Disney version of the story.
