I'll Take Humpday Triviola for $600 Alex...

I was at an antique show a couple of weeks ago and happened upon a guy selling one of these planes. What is it used for?

I don't grasp the size of it and the back is hidden but I'm almost sure I think I know positively and I'm standing on my answer.

Answer

Being as bad as Scott Burr was as a kid ends up paying off. Scott recognized this plane. It is a Stanley #11 Beltmaker's Plane.

Perhap's Scott's interest in woodworking comes from his many trips out to the "wood shed"? ;-)
