Ok, You have the name of the succeeding company. But the company name is named for an owner...not a famous designer.
Now I need some names of famous guys who designed for them!

George and Isamu are correct. I am not aware that Alvar and Alexander are correct but maybe I don't have that info.

The company I am referring to is now the Herman Miller company. Over the course of their history famous furniture designers such as George Nelson, Isamu Naguchi, Charles and Ray Eames made important design contributions while employed there. It was Herman Miller's forward thinking with contemporary furniture that made them famous.
