Humpday Already?

Who started their business 100 years ago (this year) by opening a jobbing machine and tool shop and running it out of their garage?

Re: Humpday Already?

Wish I could do something in my garage that was as successful as Mr.P and Mr.C did.

And would you believe those two only invested $2,300? Still quite a chunk back then. I'd love to have my last name on a leading power tool, how 'bout you fellas?

Re: Humpday Already?

Verne is first in and gets the kudos today.

R.E. Porter, G.G. Porter and F.E. Cable started the business in their Syracuse N.Y. garage in 1906.

Nice job Verne!
