Snowy Humpday Triviola Time

I'm dreaming of a snow-less Christmas but then again living here in the Foothills of Mount Level makes that dream pretty unlikely. Today snow, followed by rain and then of course tonight it will all freeze and I will slip and break my *ss in thge morning....but enough whining and on to the Humpday question:

John Mayo is noteworthy for developing something we all use. He got a patent for it but truth be told this had already been invented thousands of years ago by Ancient Egyptians. What is it?

I Hate You!

Dale,

Nice WAGging! Yes, plywood is the answer. Mayo actually got the first patent for plywood in 1865. However the use of plywood didn't really take off for another 40 years.

Good job Dale!

It was a WAG for sure, the Egyptians was what sparked the veneer in my fogged brain. Actually, I did not think PW began mass production until WW2....Dale
