Tuesday tree trivia

I see my name is still on the trivia committee register. My resignation email to Don went unanswered so perhaps I haven't been fired during my race training sabatical. Here is todays question. The Greeks used the leaves from this tree to make a wreath that was presented to someone as a sign of excellence.

I figured that you couldn't stay away forever;-) I am going to guess that the tree that you are looking for starts with an "L".

BTW, good luck on your running. I could do a marathon if I could walk and you gave me a week or two to complete it ;-)
