Cushions. If you have any hope of saving your tailbone by sitting on any of them for any length of time it's best to use one.

The only connection I can think of is that elephants were used for logging. The lumber from the Far East made its way here for flooring and pews? Naw, too much of a stretch. The lumber for old wood floors and church pews came from tree trunks - elephants have trunks. Do I get the chrome Unisaw?

All are commonly cleaned with Murphy's Oil Soap. I read somewhere that Murphy's is the most common product used to wash elephants. Now you know.

Why I have never been able to get my elephant clean ;-) Neat question, never would have thought of that.

I'm pretty sure that coin operated car washes have a Murphy's Oil Soap choice on the wash dial (wash, rinse, foam brush etc.) just for that purpose. ;-)
