Monday - Labor Day

Hint: This answer requires you to associate what it is with something else. If a hypothetical group was a musical quartet featuring Brinnel, Knoop, Mohs, and Rockwell C what kind (style)of music would they be playing?

Answer and 2nd question

Bill and Gary have succeeded and quickly too The "members" of the quartet are all names of hardness scales. Hardrock would be one type of music (as well as a cafe) and scales would also be another type of music.

Re: Answer and, Darn!

Diamond is the answer. Gary is correct. Also Dan is correct, my question is incorrectly stated. It should be 32 is to gypsum as 7000 is to diamond as confirmed by the net. I'm almost positive I copied the question the way it was presented with the harder item with the lower score. I'll check it again. Either I had a brain burp or it was a misprint in my source. Sorry.
