In fine Ken Jennings-like fashion Bill and Gary harmoniously came to the correct answer.
"Sawyers" is an appropriate name for one who plays the musical saw. To increase the quality of tone as well as the range of the instrument Sawyers prefer saws with longer and thinner blades.
