Thursday Trivia
Cork is an example of outer tissue from a wooded plant. What is a term for this tissue or layer? (8 letters)
Re: Thursday Trivia
At first I thought it was bark but not enough letters. Then I thought cambium but too few letters also and this is the layer that forms the bark. Then I thought epidermis but too many letters. Now I'm at a loss. Thought I knew a little about trees but I guess not. My plant morphology professor would be disappointed. I did not do any searches by the way. Looking forward to learning the answer.
Re: I come up with 9 letters???? ....

Re: Then we must me using different words..
