Established in 1998, WoodCentral offers much more than the page that brought you here. Explore woodworking articles, browse discussions, admire projects in our gallery, browse or place listings in the marketplace,  watch woodworking videos, and discover resources gathered for people who enjoy working with wood.

Whether you're an experienced woodworker, a weekend hobbyist, or just getting started, there's always something new to learn, something worth making, or an idea worth exploring.

You don't have to join, subscribe, or sign up to come back.

Bookmark WoodCentral today. The next time a woodworking question comes up, or you're looking for inspiration for your next project, we'll be here.

Hey everyone,

Whether you've been with us since the late '90s or you're visiting for the first time, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm Peter, one of the people working on the site. We've made quite a few changes to bring WoodCentral up to date, and I know those updates can sometimes feel jarring even when they're meant to help.

I'm genuinely curious: what would you like to see more of here? What should we change, fix, or bring back? Long-time users, what have we lost that you miss? New visitors, how did your find us? What would make the site more useful or welcoming for you? Unlike almost every other site on the web, you do not need to register to post on WoodCentral.

No need to be polite — I'm not easily offended and I'd rather hear the straight truth.

Thanks for any thoughts you want to share.
