Yeah, this video is doom-and-gloom clickbait, but it hits some truths—and leaves out plenty too. Most “competitors” are really just divisions of the same giant parent company. A lot of it’s just marketing to turn people into fanboys and get them to rope in their friends. And even if someone picks a different brand, the parent company probably owns that one too—so either way, they win.

Opinions?

I'm not really worried about it, since this has been going on for decades and there is nothing the consumer can do about it anyway.  Those two companies likely don't even manufacture what they sell, probably contracting it out to China et al and have their designs stolen to manufacture slightly changed stuff that turns up at Harbor Freight or on Amazon under some oddly named brand like Banggood.

So yeah, it's just click bait.  They thank you for your support in clicking on their video.  When someone is trying to get me all riled up with a vid, what I always ask myself is "what do they want me to do about it" and the answer is always click on their vid, get mad and watch more vids.  Waste of time.
