1-qt water
2-scoops Miracle grow
2-cans beer, drink one
1-qt horse manure, doesn't have to be fresh, but the ammonia odor should still be present when it gets wet.
1-qt dried oak leaves

To force / enhance spalting on logs.
Based on the erroneous belief that spalting is caused by bacteria (in the, poop) Spalting is the result of fungi (black rot and white rot. Fungi are plants. feed them nitrogen to get them to expand in the wood. Miracle Grow will help but using 46-0-0 fertilizer which is concentrated urea (dehydrated cow pee) is far better and leave the meadow muffins in the field.
Dissolve the urea inwater, and put the log in the solution, to keep the wood soaking wet. The fungi need water to grow.
Probably either sourdough bread or Korean kimchi.
