Before the invention of motorized chainsaws and logging machinery, the hard work of felling trees was done by the lumberjacks using hand tools such as axes and saws.

Those are cool photos. Is it just me, or did the one that showed a ladder leaned against the end of a trunk, and a few people, have a crosscut saw that was two welded together?

I bet those lumberjacks could all eat like horses, and I bet nobody would want to get in a fistfight with them...
