Who knew they'd come up with this? Apparently it is all the rage for school science class, making slime out of PVA glue.
Likely not as strong as glues optimized for wood, but as I've been making banding lately I wanted to try it out - school glue types of PVA are better for rub joints than general tightbond glues - those are optimized for open time and for a rub joint you want quick tack instead. So far the thicker white glues seem to work better, but I'm looking forward to messing around with the clear also.
If it doesn't work well, I can always make some slime! My mom hated that stuff when it first came out in the 70's
