Does anyone know if the Greene and Greene houses in Pasadena have survived the inferno there? I know my concern pales in the face of catastrophic destruction and suffering in LA; but the Greene and Greene houses are National Treasures, and it would be very sad to lose them to the fire.

Google Maps
Click "View larger map" and then the "Eaton fire" icon just NE of The Gamble House for details. I think the fire perimeters are done by satellite imagery of smoke density, and it says last updated 9 hours ago, so it is not real time.

#3Thank you! So far, it appears that as long as the Eaton fire stays North of I 210, the most famous of the Greene and Greene houses will be safe. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the information.

Here's a link to the US Geological Survey air quality map, which includes the fire boundaries. It claims to be more or less real time.
