Segmented stuff is a good way to use up leftovers.

Excellent. I have tried a bit of turning but I just don't seem to have the knack for it.
Basic stuff I can do but I have to cheat with sandpaper to get a decent finish.
Bowl turning. Tried it once and it snatched on me. Freaked me out and never tried again. I don't think I'm sharpening properly.
My technique is obviously not up to scratch either.
I thought it would be easy enough to learn but.... 😕
