Don't ask. It would take a book to cover all the pratfalls, dead ends and hilarious misadventures of my youth. But it was worth every last cent.
I did get sucked in to a business partnership with some clown who persuaded me that there was money to be made milling timber with a woodmizer. Buy the time I had called it quits I renamed it the Sodomizer.
Did it kiss you first?
No. Not even a reach around. Lol.
Trouble was the other guy just didn't have a clue about milling logs. Refused to listen to common sense. Then he was taking payment on the sly without me getting my cut. There are a lot of stupid opportunists out there. But I had the last laugh. Sold my share to someone even dumber.
I did get my share out of him too.
But it's what you learn in the burn that prepares you for the next turn. No regrets.
Always have a plan B.
