Experience is the glue that holds your skills togetherr.

When she was a little girl I drew cartoon characters for my daughter to play with. She loved them and wanted to learn how to draw like that. She doubted herself as kids often do. Practise, practise, practise. That's all I told her. The more you do it the better you get. So she did and Art became her best subject.
" Daddy, how do you learn to tell jokes ? "
Just watch the bullies and teacher's make fool's of themselves darling and mimic them. Funny is just the truth exaggerated a little.
Now she is a lethal joke maker. Her comebacks leave my wife in tears and usually at my expense.
Great kid. Grown up now. Left home.
Gotta spend time with kids to get them off to a good start. Same with anything really.
I'm taking it easy at the moment. After six year's of brutal owner building my body needs a rest. But it's warming up and I have 29 window's and five doors to hang. No time to BS here then.
So chap's today I need to finish grinding the paint off and get some primer on.
Wind storm broke off a ton of branches. Spent yesterday chainsawing them in to fire wood. I'm trying to get banned here but obviously not doing enough to get over the line. 20240804-135810.jpg

Maurice, keep trying. You know it is in the practice. Plus I love your efforts :)

I must be getting out of practice. It's to late for me now son. I'll never make gold member. I would've settled for bronze, even pot metal.
You go on, remember what I taught you.
Leave me behind here to die quietly.
It's alright. I had my day, I basked in the Aussie sun, cracked open a few cold ones and sacked a you beaut Aussie Sheila.
I didn't even have to pay the ten pounds to get over here.
Never did get to Perth but they probably don't let anyone into WA now anyway. Still, I'll always have Melbourne.

@Maurice,

Was that a toke n gesture ?
But the swearing, the brutal critiques and wearisome monologues !
Surely I deserve at least a spanking, a warning, a flash mobbing by the deeply offended  ?
Bronze eh ? Do I get privileges ?

@Maurice,

I considered a spanking but was afraid you might like it too much.

I am not worthy. Sorry must dash. Miley wants to go shopping and I need a new concrete mixer to convert in to a bong.
