The Rubio bench fad

We had one in a woodshop gathering dust, paint cans and storing miscellaneous other crap. It had the dorky vice. I went to use it for some random job and got a bollocking from the foreman. " Don't waste your time using that bloody useless vice, use mine. That damned thing should be burnt !"
He was right. My bench is a fairly close copy of his. Standard quick action Record vice, record screw tail vice.
This hipster Rubio bench cult does my head in man !  The legs are fatter than an Italian female opera singer's. To bloody heavy to move easily. Like an Opera singer.
If that bench appeared in Puccinis Tosca it would be a perfect torture rack. I'd take the firing squad over that bloated behemoth.
If it was Taylor Swifts boyfriend's bench she would dump him after a week for failure to perform. OK, scratch that. He wouldn't last one night. His work would keep slipping out.
No. I won't apologise for saying what all the other old school duffers are thinking too. Put it away. It's an offence to reason.
And the tail vices ! Finger and crap traps.
I'm surprised the Rubio kits don't come with a manscaping grooming ensemble and moustache gel. Give them time.
