We took this beast too. Very interesting internals. One motor rides the head and feed. It does have cast iron anti kickback fingers so it's safe to feed multiple stock.
Massive wet gear box for the feed mechanism. Not sure if the bed rolls are driven. Nice four knife cutterhead. Grease nipples everywhere. The cover is cast aluminium. Chunky build all round and very heavy.
No idea how well it runs. The bed has a locking handle which is good. Two screw rise and fall. Not such a big fan of that system myself. Age is not so kind.
