Load rated for Taylor Swift and her entire dance troupe ?

I kinda like it, but...the deck to stairs ratio is pretty low.  I'd rather have a lot more usable deck space.  Nothing wrong with sturdy steps!

If that's a full sheet of ply on the ground it looks like the stair stringers are 12" apart so he may be using composite for the treads.
I think the set running parallel to the house are useless. There are a couple of houses around me that have concrete stairs like that (although smaller) and it is obvious the parallel set never get used other than a plant pot or two.

I'd like to see the finished project on how they handled the stair railings and those around the deck to meet code.

This guy/gal took the opposite approach. Will this work? I fear a fat guy running up the middle may bounce his way to the top.

They're need to hold Taylor Swift's dance troupe.

I would think that those steps would be pretty solid.

@Lee Schierer, Probably, they appear to be two 2x6 which should be OK. Also, it appears it is built over a concrete stoop, so if touching, you can't make inside stringers nor do you need them.

I was tempted to say something triggering like that but self censored just in time.

@Maurice,

Thank goodness. My trigger finger is just itching to ban someone!
