Most historical accounts suggest that the face of the Statue of Liberty was modeled after Augusta Charlotte Bartholdi, the mother of the sculptor Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi. However, there are claims that Isabelle Boyer, a Frenchwoman who was married to the American inventor Isaac Merritt Singer, served as a model, although this assertion lacks definitive evidence.
My vote goes for Isabelle, as I think the resemblance (image is purportedly an actual photo) is strong enough to warrant it.
