We were cleaning out a shed recently and unearthed this high quality Windsor youth chair -- no idea what vintage -- badly in need of seat repair, but otherwise in excellent shape. Rather than let it go for a song at a yard sale, I thought I might try to repair the seat. Trouble is, I have no idea how to do it -- materials, technique, nada. Any help? Any idea if this chair might have some value if I go to the trouble of restoring it? I can't seem to find any images of similar chairs. Nichols and Stone was in business for 151 years before going south in '08.
