Cut down some dead branches from a wild plum tree. Did a quick turn and lacquer spray to see what it looked like.

Be interested to see if the color morphs or fades.

I'm told that more red coloration is due to phenol compounds like in Box Elder and Ambrosia Maple that break down to tans.
