This piece started out as a king-size headboard (84x28). Made from book-matched endgrain slices of walnut with the voids filled with clear epoxy.
I'll be resetting a black background to rest in front of the support struts with the object piece proud of the background by about an inch to allow some depth for the clear-cast rot-holes. Can still be used as a headboard, but one suggestion is to sell it to some corporation @ 20k for their "board" room.
