Hi All,

Thought I'd share one of my latest projects, my first humidor.  I used some Clara walnut to make the basic box, reason to grain wrap.  The lid features a Clara walnut burl that I book matched.  The interior features Spanish cedar on all surfaces and a few purchased humidor trays and a holder.  The lid lift is made from ebony.  The finish is sprayed lacquer, 6 coats, hand rubbed.

Hinges are Brusso 95 deg stop.

Tons of hand tool work, makes fine fitting mitres a breeze .

The gift is for my daughter Emma's boyfriend...he was pretty happy.

Take care, Jim

Thanks Henry,

It's been awhile, WC has been and will always be the best.   I have more going on in the shop, things might show up here in the future.

Take care, Jim

Hi Jim,
That's a nice looking humidor. No wonder Emma's boyfriend is delighted. Thanks for posting. We'll look forward to more reports from the shop.

Stay warm, eh?
Ellis
