In November 2023 I was helping out Classic Hand Tools at the Harrogate Woodworking Show, Yorkshire, England when I was approached by a chap called Jim Linn and asked if I'd mind being interviewed on video about my book, Cut & Dried. I was initially reluctant simply because it was unexpected and wondered if I'd get tongue-tied and mumble nothing but rubbish. But I agreed and I thought it went okay. He interviewed two other people, Rachel Meadows who talks about the Men's Shed organisation in the UK, and Ian Parker, a woodworker and woodworking teacher. I show up at about the seven minute mark.
I hope the management don't see this post as too self-promoting because the book's been out for quite a while and I'm guessing most users of this forum will already know about it, and if they wanted a copy of the book they will probably have already bought a copy. Slainte.

Thanks, Ellis. I'm glad you didn't object to my posting that link. As to extra sales, I've really no idea at this stage. I'll need to wait until I get an account of sales figures from Lost Art Press, either in January (this month) or perhaps April.

Thanks, Mark. But surely you have woodworking shows there in Montreal? My guess is that this is the time of year for Canadians to hunker down out of the cold and crack on with those Revell and Airfix kits. Your winters are brutal compared to ours, even though you're eight or nine degrees south of my UK location: so far this winter, no snow yet, but plenty of rain and wind. Slainte.

I guess that's quite unusual for where you are. Still, I guess a nice warm (sic) 1°C is much easier to live with than -20ºC and a couple of metres of snow, ha ha. Slainte.
