Framed a painting, found a hammer

Moses Yoder

Two different subjects really but one post. First I framed an oil painting my niece made for me. I used curly maple and stained it with Unicorn Spit "Dragon Belly" green. I love this stainit is vibrant and available in a large variety of colors. It is a little difficult to apply at ful strength (it can be diluted with water) because it dries fast but small projects are fairly easy. Pricey but very good quality.

Wednesday afternoon I found this hammer, gold plated. Mechanix Illustrated used to give these to people who contributed a project they made. It works exceptionally well, so much less wind resistance because of the plating.

LOL :)

(Verse 1) Moses was a woodworker, Crafting things with a skillful stir, In his workshop, he did roam, Carving commandments in fine oak and dome.
(Chorus) Bang, bang, Moses' wooden chisel, Echoed through the workshop, a rhythmic fizzle, But when dragons spat with a fiery drizzle, He grabbed his golden hammer, oh what a sizzle.
(Verse 2) He led the carpenters on a stroll, Through the forest, a mighty goal, With his saw and hammer's might, Slayed dragons that took flight.
(Chorus) Bang, bang, Moses' wooden chisel, Shaped the beams with precision and sizzle, But when dragons spat, oh the grizzle, He wielded his hammer, a fiery fizzle.
(Bridge) In the workshop, trouble brewed, Dragons spat, their fiery mood, Moses, with his hammer in hand, Laid down the rules, took a fiery stand.
(Verse 3) Wooden chisel, a symbol of might, Guiding them through the day and night, Built a temple, grand and bold, Slayed dragons, stories untold.
(Chorus) Bang, bang, Moses' wooden chisel, Carved a sanctuary, a woodworking whistle, But when dragons spat, oh the grizzle, He swung his hammer, a fiery drizzle.
(Outro) So, let us remember the craftsman old, With a wooden chisel and a hammer bold, Through dragons and sawdust, he led, Moses and his tools, enough said.

I guess I should have made references to "unicorn spit" instead of "dragon spit," but I'm not an awesome songwriter.  Like Taylor Swift.

Aerodynamic hammers...apparently it is a thing?
