I have been working on this humidor for awhile now. I am designing it on the fly, normally I plan ahead better. I think the top is too heavy for the box, I am going to cut down the offsets a little bit but basically I am going to roll with it because I have time invested. I wanted to do a coopered top. You can't see the screws very well but the top isn't glued to the stretchers, it is just held on with screws so it can move. All I have left to do now is install hinges and line it with spanish cedar.
The light colored wood is European Steamed Beech, we use it some at work and it is gorgeous.
