Newer model arc-fault devices any better?
Have friend who is wound up on the extra safety from arc-fault devices, either receptacle or breaker. I cautioned him that there were a lot of problems with sparky things like vacuum cleaners, kitchen mixers and in the shop, routers due to nuisance trips. He said he was told the newer generation devices are much better - he actually said they don't have the problem.
Anybody have recent experience?
