Half Figured Koa
A bit disappointing to find a Koa blank with nice figure on only one side, but gloss lacquer finish does dress it up a bit.

I think it's nice to show the difference -- it makes you appreciate each side more for what it is.

The curl fades out at the side but is still visable in the middle of the front edge. I'm not a huge fan of high gloss finishes but this makes the chatoyance sing. Nice piece.
