Brazilian Rosewood siblings

Still working to fine tune color balance of the new LED light in my old Phrugal Photo enclosure. These BR bowls are 8"W x 2"H from my wood stash, among my all time favorite woods.

One of my favorites too.  I have some 1.5" rosewood spindle stock for a chess set (someday).  Most of my cocobolo stash is 3" spindle stock for boxes.

Beautiful, Jamie.

Can I guess that they're "bookmatched" from a single piece cut through at the rim line?

Sure looks like cocobolo....which is, of course, also a rosewood species.

Beautiful in any case!
