Turned 82 the other day and wanted to see if I could still move. Made this from the dead chinese lantern tree. Just haven't finished it yet.

Aren't most trees dead by the time we get them on the lathe?
Just kidding. Come to think of it I turned a couple of things that were only fit for burying but they did not take root and grow so they must have been dead.
