Shiny side up
Not this bowl, ... the website. Our web guru Peter has resurrected WC from a forced shutdown, ironically that had nothing to do with us. Anyhow, these days, I don't look back, except to learn from mistakes. We're up and running again; that's what's important.. I'm sorry for the hiatus.

Glad to hear it. Great bowl too. Love the spalting. Personally, I would have filled the pith with epoxy and ebony/blackwood/black chalkline dust to make sure it didn't open up. Do you know if it has opened? (I highly recommend using chalk line to mix with epoxy. It's cheap and works great.)

Thanks Craig. No, the pith cracks haven't changed at all. I must've been lucky to get it to thickness in time to minimize cracking. I'm one of those turners who goes for "round and brown", rarely with augmentation or decoration. My enjoyment of turning comes from forms and shapes, almost exclusively.
